Phillip H. Taylor is a
cum laude graduate of the Harvard Medical School,
and has had the privilege of working as a General
Surgeon in some of the best Hospitals and emergency
rooms in North America.
Combine his extensive
training in emergency medicine with his surgical
knowledge and you’ll find that Dr. Taylor is more
than capable of handling patients, and victims of
injury.
Dr. Taylor has accomplished many feats in his
professional life. Firstly, is his background in
Commercial Real Estate Development. In 1980, Dr.
Taylor developed the first free-standing Surgi-Center,
and Diagnostic Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Dr. Taylor’s accomplishments did not end with the
Medical Center, he went on to develop a
multi-million dollar condominium and town home
project in Vail, Colorado, still known today as the
Valley at Vail. After receiving his certification
and private pilot’s license, he launched a private
airline company dedicated to tours of the Grand
Canyon and beyond. He continued his private practice
of General Surgery and Emergency Medicine.
In 1985, Dr. Taylor made the decision to attend Law
School. He enrolled and graduated less than three
years later from the University of Miami Law School.
Although Dr. Taylor continued to work as a full-time
physician in a Miami emergency room, he began work
as a Medical-Legal consultant for a number of
successful law firms.
His journey into the complex and challenging world
of medical malpractice began in 1988. His role then,
as it is now, remains the same. His sole priority is
the patient. Now, with more than 22 years of legal
expertise, and over 40 years of medical knowledge,
it’s easy to see why his law firm has been hired by
so many. Phillip H. Taylor, M.D., J.D. has brought
his professional medical training and knowledge to
the courtroom in the prosecution of several major
medical malpractice and personal injury actions. His
negotiating skills, developed in the real estate and
construction industry, are now used in settlement
negotiations and mediations.
